Name: Seth
Age: x
Gender: Male
Race: Enchant--form of choice is usually a white-blue skinned dark elf.
Description: A heavy leather overcoat hangs down to his mid-calf. Multiple nicks and tears and general signs of usage cover it and if you look close enough, there are even brown-red stains--suggesting gore. This is held together by three thick straps at the top, each with a large, flat, skull shaped button. Knewer leather peices are stitched over the elbows, the cuffs and the bottom; probably to cover places where the material has taken serious damage. He wears under this, a pair of brown dress pants, which are impeccibly kept; and classy shoes.
Beyond this, nothing about him appears normal--even his hair defies gravity, giving an upward and backwards curl. It starts, blue at the root, and green the further you get towards the tips. His very skin is milky blue--and almost certainly cold to the touch. Although oftentimes, people cannot place what exactly it is about him that is menacing, most people are inclined to avoid him.
Weapons: He carries with him a heavy scythe. It is the most intricate looking thing he carries with him, and also the most rugged one.
Items: Clothing. He rarely brings anything else, and if he does, it is usually occasional.
Personality: Despite outward appearances, Seth can be really shy. It is for this reason that, even though they've been friends since the beggining of time Seth has never manned up and admitted his love for Dusk. Oh, he's gotten close, but the fear of rejection has kept his mouth zipped. Around Dusk he tends to be more outgoing and more defensive than usual. He gets really, really defensive and loud if he percieves someone as a threat. As far as he's concerned--Dusk is his. She just doesn't know it yet.
Around other people in general, Seth tries to be sociable. This is usually a massive failure, because people are naturally afraid of him.
When he does make friends though, he adores them dearly, and sometimes spoils them. He'll do what he can to make them happy, especially while they're still alive.
Sometimes he ends up hurt through this process, though, when those same friends are screaming in mental anguish for whatever reason and praying for death to be merciful. All too often he is put in the position to preserve the life of someone who does not want to live out of his own selfishness and the fact that it's not their time yet, or take them in some sort of masochistic embrace--breaking his own rules and heart because he can't bear the screams. Even if this doesn't happen, he tends to get depressed when his friends die; but it's more, depressed for their depression at their own death, and having to be the one to take them.
History: Most of his history you can find in Dusk's profile. If it is important it is probably in there.
~
Seth is the technical weakest of the three biggest Enchants.(sybrant/time, Dusk/ Seth/Death) Time cannot exist without DUsk, and Dusk cannot exist without time, but both could, theoretically, exist without death; it just hasn't happened that way, and probably won't, for the fact that Death is generally a balancer for Dusk. Dusk would be stretched too thin making it's equasion work if people never died.
Speaking of Dusk, Seth has a huge crush on her, and has had one since before he can recall. It's a largely unusual thing for an enchant to do--since they have no technical gender and no technical form--he fell in love with her mind.
Due to his oppressively shy nature though, he tends to skirt around telling her and do what he can to gain her favor. Even when he does get the gusto up to maybe ask her--he either chickens out, or Dusk finds some other way to read it and remain oblivious to his feelings. He hopes to eventually make her fall for him. Eventually.
Other: Seth's favorite other forms include ravens, wolves, and venemous snakes. He uses this ability more freely than Dusk does, less concerned with disquising this particular ability.
